The 220 kV Valle del Chira Project encompasses the construction of the new Valle del Chira Substation (220/60/22.9 kV - 100 MVA) along with its corresponding loop-in/loop-out variants for the 220 kV Piura Oeste – Pariñas and 60 kV La Huaca – Sullana transmission lines.
Designed to strengthen the electrical system in northern Peru, this infrastructure ensures a continuous, reliable, and high-quality power supply. Its deployment optimizes grid operational capacity by resolving voltage drops and relieving transmission line congestion, directly boosting service reliability for the local population and regional growth.
