Celeo Redes Chile Limitada has initiated the tender process for a group of transmission expansion projects in Chile, within the framework of the new responsibilities assigned to facility owners following the enactment of Law No. 21,721 on Energy Transmission, published on December 27, 2024.
The company, part of Grupo Celeo and specialized in the operation and maintenance of electricity transmission infrastructure, will manage the tender process for projects associated with facilities operated by Nirivilo Transmisora de Energía S.A., Alfa Transmisora de Energía S.A. and Mataquito Transmisora de Energía S.A.
The tender includes four expansion projects involving substations. Among them is the expansion of the El Ruil 66 kV substation (BPS+BT), corresponding to Decree 276/2025, with a 30-month construction period and a reference investment value of USD 2,423,877.
The process also includes the expansion of the Loica 220 kV substation (IM), associated with Decree 200/2022, which will be executed over an 18-month construction period and includes a reference investment value of USD 2,344,506. In addition, the tender includes the expansion of the Candelaria substation, corresponding to Decree 293/2018, with a 24-month construction period and an estimated investment of USD 1,796,534.
The fourth project corresponds to the sectionalizing of the 1×66 kV Hualañé–Parronal line at the Mataquito substation, associated with Decree 198/2019. This project includes a 24-month construction period together with a reference investment value of USD 2,489,600.
The process will be carried out through the Unilink Tender Platform, enabled by Celeo as the official channel for the submission and administration of bids. The platform will ensure the confidentiality of submitted information, equal treatment of bidders and fair competition throughout the tender process.
Companies interested in participating must formalize their participation through the purchase of tender documents and registration in the Participants Registry until November 13, 2026, in accordance with the provisions established in Section 5 of the General Administrative Terms and Conditions (BAG). Section 5.1 of the same document details the different stages of the tender process.
