Celeo publishes its 2025 Sustainability Report and reaffirms its commitment to a sustainable energy future

Celeo presents its 2025 Sustainability Report, a document that includes the progress made in environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters within the framework of its new 2025-2029 Business Plan.

Celeo has published its Sustainability Report for the 2025 financial year, which includes the company’s main progress in environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters, as well as its economic performance and its contribution to the development of sustainable energy infrastructures in Spain, Brazil, Chile and Peru.

The publication coincides with the start of a new strategic stage marked by the implementation of the 2025-2029 Business Plan, aimed at strengthening corporate resilience and integrating ESG criteria across all the geographies where the group operates. In this context, Celeo has consolidated its position in the electricity transmission and renewable generation sectors, closing the year with a net profit of 30.2 million euros and renewable energy generation of more than 495,000 MWh.

A year of relevant milestones

Among the main achievements of 2025, Celeo’s participation stands out, for the second consecutive year as a group, in the GRESB index (Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark), one of the main international references for the evaluation of ESG performance. The company improved its result to a score of 93 out of 100, reflecting the strength of its sustainability strategy and its ability to align its operations with the most demanding international standards in terms of governance, environment and social responsibility.

Another of the outstanding advances has been the first step towards the implementation of a Multisite Management System. During 2025, the group passed the first internal audit at the corporate level of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, thus strengthening its quality, environmental, safety and health management systems at work.

Operational activity also advanced significantly in the different countries where Celeo operates. In Brazil, construction began on the 2 × 500 kV Xingó-Camaçari II (PTE) and 500 kV Marimbondo 2-Campinas (CTE) transmission lines, awarded in 2023. In Chile, the CASTE project came into operation and construction began on the 2 × 220 kV Don Goyo-La Ruca (NITE) and Loica-Portezuelo (ALFA) lines. In addition, in November 2025, the company was awarded the Margarita substation project and the 2 × 110 kV Margarita-Agua Santa transmission line. In Peru, progress continued on the Puerto Maldonado-Iberia project.

The planet and social commitment, at the centre

Environmental protection continues to be a priority for Celeo. The company has a plan to reduce scope 1 and 2 emissions from the generation business by 62% by 2030, taking 2024 as the base year. In the transmission business, the goal is to achieve a 42% reduction in scope 1 and 2 emissions in the same time horizon.

For its part, the social dimension continued to occupy a central place in the group’s activity during 2025. Celeo developed community action programs in all the countries where it operates, adapted to local needs and aimed at improving the well-being of communities. Throughout the year, 418,890 euros were allocated to social action initiatives, in line with a corporate responsibility policy based on the creation of shared value and permanent dialogue with stakeholders.

The 2025 Sustainability Report reflects a year of consolidation for Celeo, both in the development of its activity and in the generation of value for its main stakeholders. The full document can be consulted on the company’s corporate website: www.celeogroup.com
